Christiana Studios has been in operation since it was founded in 1977 by Tony Christiana on his 25 acre farm in Catlett, Virginia. The studio is designed to handle all forms of photography from Weddings and Portraits to Commercial and Industrial and Digital Imaging. Bill Piacesi joined the studio in 1986 as a lab manager and associate photographer. In 1994, he became a partner in the studio. In 1999 a satellite office was opened in the Dulles area to better serve the growing Northern Virginia clientele. Both Tony and Bill have earned their Master of Photography Degree from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). This is the PPA's highest photographic degree. Christiana Studios is one of only three studios in Virginia with two Master Photographers on staff.
